Gingerbread House

I decided to start a new yearly  holiday tradition with my grand kids. I bought a kit to make a gingerbread house, actually their are 6 mini houses. We started out with Ellasyn & I , which soon turned into Jaxton wanting to sit on my lap. Trying to squeeze icing from the tube with all of our hands on the bag wasn't working to well. Placing candy on the icing worked for a minute until they realized they could eat the candy. The citation was pretty much the same when Makenna & I  did her houses. I did enjoy crafting with all three of them. Yes, I hope we can do it again next year!!!!

Let Summer Begin

Back Yard Patio
I love flowers.  Every spring between Mothers Day and Memorial Day, hubby and I make a trip to the local greenhouse to buy flowers.  It's usually to cold at night to plant them as soon as I get home.  When the danger of frost is done, it's planting time. I have a lot of perennials, with some annuals mixed in here and there.  Rarely do the flowers get planted all in one time. I need time to determine the best location for each one. When I am done, I get to marvel at the beauty of what flowers can do! Did I say I love flowers!!!!!

Cora has Arrived

Today May 12th 2014 at 10:16 am, Cora Anne Lang arrived. She weigh 9lb.2oz. and is 20" long with lots of dark hair. Leeanne was a real trooper, the only drug taken was a small shot so they could put in two stitches after it was all over with. Everyone is doing great.
