This past weekend we went thrift shopping, and I came across a Dazey butter churn. I have always wanted one but, the prices where always more then what I wanted to pay until now. My lucky day what a deal!
The churn was in great shape, so Darrel and I decided we would try and make some butter. Looking on-line and in a how-to book that we have we gave it a try. It was easy, it only took a little over half hour to to churn it and another to finish it up.
So a quart of heavy cream and a half hour of cranking you have butter.
